YOUR ROLE
- Responsible for profitable sales growth, achieving distribution objectives, development of annual promotional calendar and delivering market share growth for Henkel Consumer Brands at Dollar General
- Primary contact for Dollar General on all items relating to daily operations for the Henkel Consumer Brands Beauty business
- Achieve merchandising objectives, new item acceptance, and budget adherence
- Lead the development of annual Joint Business Plans with Dollar General that delivers on Henkel’s net sales, profitability, and market share targets and Dollar General’s aligned KPI’s
- Builds an in-depth knowledge & understanding of the Dollar General’s corporate strategies and local market dynamics.
- Works with the local sales team and internal stakeholders to leverage knowledge that drives winning solutions
- Comfortable negotiating and ensuring delivery of agreed upon metrics
- Manage supply chain initiatives through S&OP process. Optimize gross sales, profitability, new fulfillment opportunities, and possess strong financial management skills
- Builds and maintains a strategic relationship with key stakeholders at Dollar General: Soap and Hair Category Manager, Buyers, DG Media Network
- Collaborates across the internal commercial team both within sales (Category Management, Net Revenue Management and Sales Strategy) and across other internal functions (Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, etc.) to build insight-led, profitable, and strategic growth plans across the 5 P’s
- Develop customized programs designed to drive profitable volume while owning sales forecast ensuring accuracy and data integrity
