YOUR ROLE
- Develop a global sourcing strategy for the respective baskets, which is based on the global category strategy and ensures a future-ready set-up
- Ensure compliant sourcing in the area of responsibility and follows the global guidelines set by the Category Team Lead
- Negotiate the best rates / commercial options with the suppliers and fix those in alignment with the legal counsel in contracts to ensure best pricing for Henkel
- Initiate tenders in close alignment with internal stakeholder and decides on the best ways of implementation
- Implement the global category and respective basket strategies in the role of a regional sponsor together with the local/ regional organization
- Decide on the best way of implementation in the respective country, take over the strategic lead in the implementation and represents Purchasing in local top management alignment meetings
