YOUR ROLE

  • Develops category strategy for APAC consumer care & styling, defines clear roadmap and growth priorities for the category and the key brands.
  • Market intelligence: familiarizes with regional and local trends, shares insights regionally, supports the ideation process.
  • Provides category expertise, runs country portfolio review and identifies white spots, builds innovation roadmap for responsible brands.
  • Executes New Product Development projects including conceptualization, validations (GOI, GOII), development and implementation.
  • Steers projects according to Henkel’s innovation process together with internal and external partners (R&D, NPI, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Production, Legal, Agencies, etc.) to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Develops brand communication guideline and assets in alignment with country needs, including communication platform, brand book, KV, CI, video, PR pack shots etc., cascading to markets to ensure execution consistency.
  • Constantly communicates with markets and shares best practices.
  • Reviews local launch plan and media planning efficiency to drive awareness, consideration, conversion, and purchase
  • Launch tracking: closely monitors launch performance and coordinates with markets to seek optimization opportunity
  • Lead and guide the team to reach team goals and ensure excellent performance, coach the team for their career development

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s Degree, MBA preferred or bachelor’s degree with working experience in MKT.
  • Min 7 years’ MKT experience, with min 3 years in NPD
  • Experience with Beauty Industry preferred, or FMCG.
  • Regional experience preferred, or international exposure i.e. overseas working/study.
  • Self-motivated /resilient /logical /team player, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English as working language.
  • Regional exposure to various APAC markets, in charge of the biggest category within Henkel Beauty Care
